Here is the ultimate proof that life can be perfectly beautiful. A stunning Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV Series 1 in Blu Olandaise. This Alfa Romeo 1750 was supplied from new in the Netherlands in July 1968.

Although you have probably already gathered from the photos that this car is a particularly fine example, we feel it would be a disservice not to provide some further information. This Alfa was recently restored and perfected in the smallest detail. The previous owner had the car taken back to bare metal in 2019 and given a fresh thin coat of paint. The quality of the respray is second to none and remains in an excellent state. The bodywork is also still in excellent shape. Naturally there is

absolutely no rust to be found at all and the panel gaps are splendid. When seen from beneath the view is as pretty as it is on top. As the car was completely taken apart, the opportunity arose to include a few sensible upgrades. A new exhaust, Koni shock breakers as well as larger brake discs have been fitted.

The lovely twin cam 1750 engine with its twin double Weber carburettors was fully refurbished. The compression test print out confirms the car’s prime fitness level. The starter motor was also overhauled. Everything regarding this Alfa Romeo’s mechanics is in prime condition. The 5-speed gearbox has also been subject to a substantive overhaul. There are no issues with the synchromesh rings giving us smooth and exact gear changes.

A few years ago the interior was reupholstered and still looks in peak condition. As you will no doubt suspect after reading the above the work was carried out meticulously with new carpets being fitted, reupholstered trim as well as taking care of the woodwork. The gauges, instruments and iconic gear knob and steering wheel are all in excellent condition.

To top it all the last owner arranged for a major service to be carried out by a specialist, making sure this Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV looks great and drives a treat. All work has been nicely recorded and arranged in a file containing various documents and invoices.
