No bonnet rod, double side trims identical to those of the 1600 Sprint, curved and not straight handbrake lever, absence of the headlight frame in the front and many other small details make this car an absolute rarity. Not only that, it is painted in a rare “Beige Grey” colour (AR724) produced for only two years, 1967/1969, and later replaced by the more common “Beige Cava” (AR821). All this is obviously certified by the Centro Documentazione Alfa Romeo in Arese (MI), which shows that it was built on 20 January 1968.
Professionally and personally restored by Alessandro Tarantino in 3 years of work, everything that needed to be replaced, such as platforms, front plates and boot, has been replaced. Engine, clutch, transmission, all overhauled, as well as carburetion and chassis.
