In 1974, at the Geneva Motor Show, Pininfarina displayed this car as an example of aerodynamic concept.
The car is the last upgrade of a new project ended without success, because of the new rules, and it was the very last Abarth built before all went to Osella.
The in line 4 cylinder engine 16 valve and DOHC, with Lucas fuel injection, was generous to give 280 bhp; 5 speed gearbox and only 575kg did the rest.
Sold by Abarth to Mr Chiavacci from Castelfranco Veneto, who was an avid Abarth collector during the year 1976, the car never raced officially except some test.
During the 80’s, the car went to California and had been used in many event before back again to his native country in the 2005.
Mr Morini from Faenza, restored it during 2013/2014, and sold it to the actual owner in 2015.
The car was never used since then.
