This 1966 Shelby GT350 is chassis 1364 and is an original four-speed car. It is one of approximately 255 original Sapphire Blue GT 350s. This Shelby, number 1364 is as listed in the Shelby American World Registry and is fully documented. It also retains its original Shelby American VIN tag, Shelby VIN numbers stamped on the passenger front fender apron as well as all its original hidden Ford VIN stampings. This Shelby retains many of its original K-Code 289 engine and drive train parts. It also has its original 389 rear-end, 4-speed top loader transmission and rear end housing. Chassis 1364 was shipped to S&C Ford Inc. San Francisco CA on 3-17-66. It still retains the original license plate numbers from California and original license plate frames from S&C Motors San Francisco, California. It was purchased from, its current longtime owner in Redwood City, California who owned it since 1979. It has never left California, and has had the same ownership for 38 years. It was repainted in 1983 at Cobra Performance Sacramento, California. The engine was rebuilt in 1995 by Bradshaw Balancing and Machine in Fairfield, California on 6/12/95 and has logged approximately only 4,000 miles since the rebuild. The odometer reading is original and shows current mileage of 85,379. All its engine components are original except the upgraded 1970 Boss 302 bare block. All other components are original 289 HP K-Code. Original engine parts include original Cobra 3-wire tachometer, 289 HP heads with casting numbers 20 & 21, radiator, water pump, fan, alternator, starter, rods, crankshaft and Cobra 7-quart oil pan. It has the correct Cobra intake manifold and 715 Holley center pivot carburetor. The Boss 302 block was bored 30 over in 1979 by Bradshaw Machine in Fairfield. It has the original 289 HP solid lifter cam shaft and balancer, water pump and button top fuel pump. It wears the original 289 aluminum buddy bar valve covers. It also retains its four original Koni shocks. The original type ten-spoke rims were purchased in 1982 over the counter from Carroll Shelby Inc. and are mounted with the original type brand new Goodyear blue streak tires. In the trunk it has the special Shelby lug wrench and jack handles with the correct pouch. The glove box and original owner\'s manual have been signed by Carroll Shelby himself. This is an exceptional 1966 GT 350 that has been properly maintained and is well documented. Wonderful to look at and a treat to drive.
