Description

The Yamaha FZ 750 was produced from 1985 to 1991 and today is a very prestigious and sought-after bike. It has a characteristic 5-valve cylinder head with a radial arrangement, a Yamaha trademark from this model onwards. This particular arrangement helps to lighten the valves, allowing for faster opening speeds, and thus considerable increases in engine speed and power output: even the first series in 1985 reached speeds that were unimaginable for a 750 cc bike. The FZ 750 was produced entirely by the Japanese manufacturer, each structure, engine and fairing component was made by Yamaha. The bike has an all-aluminium, liquid-cooled, transverse-mounted, four-cylinder engine. The complex cylinder head has dual chain-driven overhead camshafts and 20 valves, of which 3 inlet and 2 exhaust per cylinder.
