Dieses seltene Motorrad wurde ab 1970 mit einem Zweitakt Motor und verstärktem Fahrwerk gebaut und ähnelt äußerlich sehr der DT1.
Yamaha stand 1968 im Rampenlicht der amerikanischen Motorradszene, die mit der DT1 weltweit das erste Off-Road Motorrad vorstellten. Dieser "Enduro"-Trend kam erst später nach Europa, weshalb nur wenige Motorräder dieses Modells in Europa verkauft wurden. Erst 1974 kam Yamaha mit der DT 360 auf den deutschen Markt.
Heute feieren diese leichten Enduros ihr "Come-back" und sind sehr gefragte Off-Road Motorräder.
Die Yamaha RT 360 wurde von einem kräftigen, schlitzgesteuerten Einzylinder-Zweitaktmotor angetrieben.
2015 - 2016 wurde dieses Motorrad restauriert, der Vergaser wurde von einer Mikuni Werkstatt überholt (Rechnung vorhanden), neue Lackierung des Motorrades und Tank entrostet und versiegelt.

Well-maintained collector's motorcycle: Yamaha RT2-RT360

This rare motorcycle was built from 1970 with a two-stroke engine and reinforced chassis and looks very similar to the DT1.
In 1968, Yamaha was in the spotlight of the American motorcycle scene, which introduced the world’s first off-road motorcycle with the DT1. This "enduro" trend came to Europe later, which is why only a few motorcycles of this model were sold in Europe. It wasn't until 1974 that Yamaha came onto the German market with the DT 360.
Today these light enduros are celebrating their "comeback" and are very popular off-road motorcycles.
The Yamaha RT 360 was powered by a powerful, slot-controlled single-cylinder two-stroke engine.
2015 - 2016 this motorcycle was restored, the carburetor was overhauled by a Mikuni workshop (invoice available), new paintwork of the motorcycle and tank derusted and sealed.
