This matching number ’72 Trident was the subject of a very comprehensive restoration in Real Classic magazine in 2014. Serialised over 4 months it shows the work in great detail to it’s completion in Feb. 2015 which included a full engine rebuild.

Having been with the last owner for 3 years it is showing 35,242 miles and has just had the carbs cleaned and overhauled and new inlet rubbers fitted. In fine running order and still in generally good cosmetic condition it was rebuilt to resemble the ‘American Beauty’ kit that was offered in period by the factory to US customers as the UK styled bread bin fuel tank and ray gun silencers were too radical for them at that time.
