The Officine Meccaniche Fausto Alberti Company, founded in Milan in 1922 with the aim of producing engines for industrial and motorboat use, began producing motorbikes under the Sertum brand name (a name suggested by Mr. Fausto’s father-in-law who built bicycles under this name in the early 1900s) in 1932 with the 175 cc single-cylinder model. In 1949, they presented the VT 250 (Valvole in Testa), a beautiful and robust 250 cc twin-cylinder model.
Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
