Description

Built by an Aircraft/ Engineer to exacting standards This stunning Norton needs nothing, sounds amazing with an open exhaust and goes like wind.
Frame is very rare 1939 Plunger, checked by Maidstone Motoliner.
The 500cc Single OHC engine was built by Stewart Tonge who races in the Lansdowne Series. It is an International crankcase with Alfin barrell and Manx head. New flywheels, mainshafts and big end, new piston and cams:- a full ‘no expense’ rebuild.
The gearbox is Manx, but can be fitted with a ‘kickstart’ gearbox subject to negotiations.
Petrol tank is very rare alloy Manx bolt through, oil tank is Manx.
Front wheel is about 1955 8” type for better braking, fast road linings fitted.
Rear wheel is standard Plunger.
Front forks are long Roadholder with full length internal dampers.
All parts fitted are Norton, A ‘no expense’ on going rebuild has taken place over a period of about six years.
