Description

The CS1 (Camshaft Senior 1) was Norton’s very first 500cc overhead cam engine that was introduced in 1927 for the TT, it later went on sale to the general public along with the 350cc version the CJ1 ( Camshaft Junior ). With a reputed top speed of 85 mph the bikes went on to have many racing success as well as becoming an extremely popular ‘Replica TT’ road bike. This fine example from 1931 retains it’s original engine and comes with a dating certificate from the vintage motorcycle club. An older restoration it is in good running order and has a kick starter modification to the gearbox. Road registered as MXS 103 it is supplied with a small history file and a UK logbook.
