MV Agusta, in the immediate post-war period, in parallel with the production of high-performance and expensive models, organised itself to produce relatively small, economical and reliable motorbikes. The study of the ideal displacement gave an unusual number: 83. According to the Cascina Costa technicians, that was the ideal displacement for an economical and versatile model and so, in 1958, the 83 model was presented in two versions: Turismo and Sport, with a single-beam frame, telescopic fork, swingarm and hydraulic shock absorbers, with a single-cylinder 4-stroke engine slightly inclined, with a maximum power of 4.2 hp and a 3-speed gearbox; it was credited with a top speed of 80 km/h. Preserved, in working order, in excellent condition and supplied with logbook. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
