Description

The 350 Sport A/3 (also known as the 3 ½ because of its displacement) was designed by Ferrari engineer Franco Lambertini in 1973. The bike has a twin cylinder 72° V engine with rods and rocker arms, with Heron flat heads and a 6-speed gear. The engine also has offset cylinders, the rear one offset by 5 cm to aid cooling. This “sport” version (launched in 1974) features a more powerful engine, 39 hp at 8,500 rpm compared to 35 in the standard version and reaches a top speed of 170 km/h. As regards the structure, it has a tubular steel duplex cradle frame, front suspension with telescopic hydraulic fork and rear suspension and swingarm with two adjustable telescopic hydraulic shocks.
