Description

The Settebello 175 was produced by Moto Morini from 1953 to 1963. It is one of the best small cylinder bikes ever built: fast, reliable, very strong, easy to drive and handle. These are the ideal features of a racing bike designed for private drivers. The Settebello has a 14° tilted 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with 172.4 cc and 60 x 61 mm bore x stroke. The effective power output was 15 hp at 8,550 rpm. The engine has a light alloy cylinder with cast iron liner, light alloy head with plated valve seats and valvetrain with rods and rocker arms. The frame is a tubular steel open single-cradle, the front suspension with hydraulic telescopic open-stem fork, and rear suspension with swingarm and encased hydraulic shocks.
