Description

In 1930 Moto Guzzi produced a new model known as the Sport 15 which was part of the third generation of the “Sport” series, created in 1923 and then updated with the “Sport 14” model in 1929. The Sport 15 is the first Moto Guzzi model to feature a saddle tank. It remained in production up until 1939, with a total of around 6,000 manufactured. The engine was the classic 500 cc four-stroke single-cylinder, with a three-speed transmission and a power output of 13 hp at an engine speed of around 3,800 rpm giving a top speed of 100 km/h. From a structural point of view, the bike is composed of a rigid tubular duplex cradle, with metal plates under the engine. The fork is a tubular parallelogram type, with central compression spring and two side traction springs with a compensation and damping function.
