Description

Year: 1952-1966
Not registered, without papers.

In the spring of 1950, Moto Guzzi presented its own interpretation of the scooter concept with 17” wheels called the ‘Galletto’. The intention of the Mandello company was to combine the advantages of the scooter with those of the motorbike and, in fact, the Galletto was equipped with a protective fairing, a comfortable riding position, spare wheel and maintained the typical stability of motorbikes with high wheels. The first model was equipped with a 160 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine arranged horizontally, with a three-speed gearbox. Two years later, the second series was presented, with an increased displacement of 175cc – this is the model offered in the auction. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
