The 500 cc Moto Guzzi Falcone was relatively unchanged from the company’s original Normale of 1923 and would stay in production for another 20 years. The secret of its success was its low centre of gravity, from its horizontal engine, and its ease of maintenance thanks to virtually every mechanical part being exposed. The Falcone was capable of 85 mph and was essentially the sports version of the Astore tourer. It remained popular with Italian police departments until the end of production.
This Falcone has been recently restored, finished in red with chrome trim, all in excellent condition. The wheels have aluminium rims, and the exhaust system has a fishtail fitted. There are twin rear toolboxes painted in red and a passenger saddle mounted to the rear mudguard. Fuel is supplied by the single float Dellorto carburettor. Overall this is a
