The Moto Guzzi 1000S represented the marque's commitment to its sporting heritage during the early 1990s, offering the well-developed 949 cc air-cooled transverse V-twin in a refined chassis evolved from the celebrated Le Mans lineage. The 1000S possessed an appealing combination of torque-rich performance, Guzzi mechanical soul, and a visual identity strongly linked to the glorious sporting tradition established by the Le Mans models of the preceding decade.

This example is presented in largely unmodified mechanical specification, but is fitted with the earlier T3-style headlight unit – a modification that lends the machine a period character evocative of the classic Le Mans era.
