Description

The Lambretta 125 was manufactured by Innocenti between 1951 and 1958. It was powered by a two-stroke engine requiring a petrol-oil mix, and was composed of a more rigid tubular structure on which the bodywork was installed. This model was one of the first to be produced, and so features the characteristic uncovered body, thus totally distinguishing it from the Vespa with its full fairing. This unusual characteristic thus became a distinctive feature of the Innocenti scooters. Unlike its rival Piaggio, the Innocenti Lambretta had a mid-mount engine.
