Description

  • 1999 ex-Factory KTM LC4 660 Rallye bike which was raced in the UAE Desert Challenge for a couple of years by British rider Dave McBride
  • Only 25 of these factory race  bikes were built in 1999
  • Last raced in 2003 and subsequently dry stored until early 2019
  • Restored, frame-up at a KTM dealer in Dubai with relevant invoices
  • Engine stripped and rebuilt and all other drive train components replaced with OEM parts
  • The only unrestored part is the bodywork apart from reproducing an early Desert Challenge number decal
  • A Trailtech navigation system added with GPS speed/ distance/ terrain functionality
  • Supplied with a large amount of rare engine spares including a brand new and still boxed cylinder, 3 cylinder heads, crank, conrod, gears, cam, and clutch assembly
  • Fitted with mirrors and turn signals to enable potential UK road registration
