Description

Kawasaki's 4-stroke 750cc history began with the Z2. It was the world's first bike equipped with an air-cooled, 750cc DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine, which was developed without compromises. The Z2 was unprecedentedly popular even before its release, and spawned numerous legends during its debut in 1973. The Z750FX, Kawasaki's next domestic flagship, inherited the style of the Z1000MKII, the winner of the AMA Superbike Championship, and although its angular shape was different from that of the Z2, its engine, the heart of the machine, was inherited from the Z2. In addition, the rigidity of the front end was increased to improve handling and stability at high speeds.
This particular model is the Z750 FX-III, the third generation of the Z750 FX series. It is based on the FX-II model with a more rectangular tank and other exterior modifications, and equipped with a semi-air suspension and adjustable rear suspension. But it was a rare model that got replaced by the Z750GP after just one year.

This example reads only 3,063 km on the odometer, and according to the owner, it is a fully original vehicle that had been carefully stored in a warehouse. The top of the tank is scratched and the seat is worn. There are no other major scratches, including on the lights, it’s in beautiful original condition. The engine and exhaust parts are also very clean, which is hard to believe for a vehicle over 40 years old, and is a testament to its careful storage. This is the best machine to enjoy the Kawasaki Z2 series engine.
