Description
In 1968, Honda introduced a new small-displacement off-road motorcycle – the Z50A, or “High Bar,” as it was unofficially referred to. An instant success, the little trail bike featured telescopic front shocks, small 8" wheels, adjustable-height seat, semiautomatic transmission, and folding handlebars to help with storage and transportation. With its low-riding position and ease of use, the model went on to become the first motorcycling experience for a generation of enthusiasts. Building on the success of the first series, a street version was soon introduced and brought to the American market equipped with lighting and a license plate bracket, creating even more demand for this economical little dynamo.
The Honda Z50A on offer here is beautifully presented in restored condition and is currently showing little signs of use. Finished in a striking red and silver paint scheme and complemented by black and chrome accents, this attractive Honda Trail Bike is sure to garner smiles from any motorcycle enthusiast.
