Description

The Honda CB750 is quite easily one of the top 10 most important motorcycle models of the 20th century. The CB750 was originally built to fulfill the requests of US and European Honda dealers who saw the potential for a larger capacity motorcycle to take on the likes of Harley-Davidson, Norton and Triumph. So the R&D department of Honda created a transverse inline 4-cilinder engine with overhead camshaft, mated to a 5-speed transmission. The 750 engine produced 68 bhp and could propel the motorcycle to speeds over 200 km/h. The CB750 came standard with hydraulic disc brakes, excellent handling and enough power to beat almost anything else on 2 or 4 wheels. This legendary motorcycle was produced from 1969 until 2003, and is today viewed as the godfather of modern superbikes.

The example we are offering for sale is a 1980 version, and already equipped with the DOHC engine producing 72 bhp. It is a well maintained machine, and a pleasure to drive. Finished in the typical eighties colour Candy Muse Red, it looks great as the pictures will show.

If you like retro motorbikes, then this one is certainly one to try as it offers great handling and a fruity soundtrack. A perfect bike to enjoy the summer.
