Description

The Honda SL125 S is a rare 1970s trail bike, well known for its outstanding qualities and reliability. It is powered by a 122cc air-cooled single cylinder engine producing 12 bhp, coupled to a five-speed transmission. With a weight of around 100 kg, this motorcycle could reach a top speed of 100 kph. It's a fun bike, both on and off road.

This example was delivered new in 1973 in Belgium, and only had one owner since. It still has its original 1973 road registration document and Belgian certificate of conformity, and has never been restored. This is a fully original bike, which is a very rare find. The paint is all original, and it has a beautiful patina and of course signs of use. Mainly the fuel tank and side covers show some wear which looks incredibly cool on this unrestored machine. Even every single original factory decal is still present. Technically, everything is kept in great condition, and engine, brakes and gearbox are just overhauled. Everything works on the Honda, and it is 100% ready to use. And as you may expect from an original bike, it is of course all matching nrs.

This incredibly original and one-owner SL125 is a proper collectors bike, as finding such an example in unrestored and useable condition is rather unique. This almost 50 years old Honda will appeal to anyone who appreciates originality, and deserves a place in any important motorbike collection. A proper trip down to memory lane.
