Ducati needs no introduction they have always been at the forefront of sports and racing bike design.
The 999 was introduced in 2003 and ran through to 2006, competing in the World Superbike Championship and enjoyed great success through the 2007 season.
Upon release the styling was considered controversial but is now receiving critical acclaim as one of the best handling motorcycles for its time and the best V-Twin on the planet also described as “the most desirable, most exciting road bike on the planet”.
This bike in Ducati Rosso looks amazing and simply looks fast standing still.
With the focus on dominating the track Ducati incorporated the best of everything they'd learnt with the introduction of the Testaretta a narrow head design resulting in a compact efficient combustion chamber adding overall engine performance. Known for its linear power delivery with high power and torque being available from very low in the rev range.
This bike had been a weekend toy but has been a static display in our ownership and hasn't been ran and will need to be gone over to get it running again.
A bike that can be considered a modern classic that will still out perform most new bikes and makes for a great value great looking desirable road rocket.
