Description
Known these days for their motorbikes and armoury, the Birmingham brand had started assembling cars way Citroën Légère in 1907. The BSA Three Wheeler, with its 1‘021cc V2 engine based on a Hotchkiss unit always provided slightly eccentric appearance. This example, with a runabout coachwork without soft top, was delivered in the UK and shipped to the USA in the 1950s. There the BSA spent a number of years in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, from where it was imported into Switzerland by an enthusiast in 2008. This unique example with its Roots compressor was then completely disassembled and, between 2009 and 2014, completely rebuilt using original parts as far as possible. Now the 3 wheeled whatsit is in very good condition and will be handed over to a new owner with the last veteran MOT from June 2020. In order to guarantee the utmost and carefree driving pleasure, the carburettor will be adjusted by a Zurich based specialist to the new owners place of residents altitude!
