Description

  • One of the first twin-cylinder bikes made by BMW after WWII restrictions
  • The successor of the R51/2 incorporating engine improvements and bigger brakes
  • Originally sent to BMW dealers Autohaus Malsch in Hanau in March 1954
  • This matching numbers example was restored 7/8 years ago by its previous owner 
  • In very good condition and in good running order
  • Described by the current owner as "a great riding machine"
  • Complete with BMW date letter along with various receipts. UK-registered on a V5C
