Bianchi, an important cycling and motorcycle industry, like many companies of the time, at the end of the Second World War when the country was being rebuilt and means of transport had to be both cheap and robust, equipped itself to meet the strong demand for motorization at affordable prices and created a velomotor, or a bicycle designed to house a 42 cc micromotor, complete and functional, which was named Aquilotto and which was halfway between an auxiliary engine and a moped. The Aquilotto possessed both requirements and was a notable success._x000D_
