Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time

A new year brings new diary appointments and another 12 months' globetrotting. Keeping in touch with friends, relations or business contacts when on the other side of the world is made easier with a dual-time watch.

Vacheron’s classically elegant Overseas makes a trusty travelling companion, combining a degree of hunky sportiness with the discreet styling of a company founded in Geneva in 1755: the world’s oldest watchmaker.

The 42mm matt steel case is topped by a titanium bezel exquisitely milled to a Maltese cross pattern (the brand’s trademark design). The mechanical, self-winding Calibre 1222 movement powers a dial that includes a power reserve indicator and separate sub-dials for the time in another zone and a day-night indicator.

Assuming the intrepid traveller will not spend the entire trip tucked away in the boardroom, the owner can swap the anthracite grey, alligator leather strap for black rubber, and take time out in the pool. The watch, which also happens to be screened against magnetic forces, is water resistant to 15 bar (equivalent to a depth of 150 metres).

In addition to steel and titanium, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time is also available in all-steel, or 18-carat rose gold.
