Special Phantoms for GCC Summit

To mark the 2004 Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit that took place in Bahrain last December, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars built limited edition Phantoms.

Seven cars were produced - all of which were identical. They have already been allocated to dealers across the Middle East.

The GCC Phantoms are finished in Black Sapphire Metallic, with dual hand painted Cashmere coach-lines. Privacy glass and 21-inch aluminium wheels add to the powerful looks of the exterior. A hallmarked solid silver Spirit of Ecstasy adorns the radiator.

Inside, the specially-commissioned interior features Black Tulip wood veneer and Cashmere Leather, in both natural grain and ‘tipped’ finishes. The leather also extends to the perforated headlining. Interior bright work is finished in blue chrome. The famous interlinked RR logo is sewn into each head restraint and applied to the veneer in each door capping.

In the rear, passengers are treated to individually-powered seats in which they can enjoy their own 6.5-inch DVD screens. The seats are separated by a bespoke cool-box, housed in the rear centre consul. Privacy is enhanced with a rear curtain. Special tread plates and an embroided glove box lid remind owners about the unique nature of these Phantoms.
