Dropping all disguise, and with the cameraman coming out of his secret woodland lair, the new Stratos can now be seen in action.

The new car, based on the running gear of a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, but with a shorter wheelbase, is a 21st Century take on the iconic 70s supercar. The commentary in the German-language-only video is by one of the prime movers behind the project, Michael Stoschek. Some evidence of body-roll can be seen although, to be scrupulously fair, the latest Stratos is merely being demonstrated by a non-professional driver on a karting track. It is rumoured that a current F1 driver will be involved in its further development.
