New Ferrari Panerai watches

The title "Ferrari - Engineered by Panerai" says it all; two traditional Italian brands, both bywords for technical excellence, joining together for the first time. If the famous ‘Cavallino Rampante’ appears on anything other than the bonnet of a car, it has to comply with the very highest standards laid down by Luca di Montezemolo.

The designers at Panerai have come up with something that not only is of the highest technical order, but also very much in the stylish tradition of Ferrari.

The distinguishing feature of the new collection is naturally the world famous prancing horse, seen on the flanks of racing cars run by Enzo Ferrari since before the war when he ran the works Alfa Romeo team. It can be seen at the 12 o’clock position in silver on the ‘Granturismo’ model and in the famous shield with the yellow of Modena on the ‘Scuderia’ version, a slightly sportier watch. The leather strap's stitching and texture is inspired by the seats of Ferrari road cars.

Both ranges carry the Ferrari logo on the reverse of the case and the buckle, and also have contrasting leather on the inside of the strap, red for the ‘Granturismo’ and yellow for the ‘Scuderia’. Either is available with a variety of chronometer functions and the ‘Granturismo Chronograph’ also comes in 18 ct pink gold.
