New Classic Driver dealer Motorrad Fuchs has already begun enriching the Marketplace, by offering its comprehensive range of classic and modern motorcycles.
Just five years ago, Director Wolfgang Fuchs decided to professionally pursue his passion for classic motorcycles, abandoning his former career in credit management. He has steadily built up the business in partnership with his engineer Hans, who previously raced Ducatis and travelled the world as a motorcycle mechanic. Hans’ specialities lie in rebuilding Moto Guzzi Café Racers, which he still occasionally does in his spare time.
In his inventory, Fuchs usually has around 50 classic motorcycles. He can also be found driving the occasional classic car, but his main interests are pre- and post-War motorcycles, English and Italian sport bikes, and also rare historic racing bikes such as Greeves.
But the interesting thing is that Fuchs prefers not to specialise in one brand or particular model, aiming instead to offer an interesting variety, with an emphasis on recent classics and an ambition to trade more historic racing machines in the future. As Fuchs himself says, he has evolved the company into an almost global trading operation for classic motorcycles – and claims that he can source almost any bike that his customers desire.
Motorrad Fuchs lies on the outskirts of Osnabrück in Germany, close to the Osnabrück-Süd interchange. The company’s current inventory can be found in the Classic Driver Marketplace.
