May 21st 2006 saw the inaugural Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance. With all proceeds generated going to charity, thousands turned out to see a selection of beautiful cars from the ages.
The event was held to support the charitable work done by the Assistance League of Southern California, and was held at the Rose Bowl and adjacent Brookside Golf Course. The Best in Show Pre-War trophy winner was the 1931 Bugatti from the Nethercutt Museum, with the 1949 Alfa Romeo owned by Tim Walker achieving Best in Show Post-War. Needless to say a high percentage of entries came from Ferrari and our photographer was on hand to record the action...
Next year's Concours is scheduled for June 3 2007.
