Last Bugatti Veyron 16.4 sold to a European customer

For those who hesitated, it’s now too late. The choice of 1000bhp+ cars has just got smaller as Bugatti, part of the Volkswagen Group, calls time on the ‘regular’ Veyron – from now on, it’s a 1.4m-euro Grand Sport, or 1200PS Super Sport, or nothing.

Just 300 examples of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 will have been produced and this very last example goes to a “European customer who has never purchased a Bugatti before”, says Bugatti. Delivery is scheduled for autumn 2012.

With its glass roof erected, the convertible Grand Sport can achieve a quite remarkable 407km/h maximum speed. Roof removed, it’s limited to a snail-like 360km/h. Tuh... but still the fastest convertible in the world.

For those with a hankering for a Veyron, there’s always the pre-owned market and no one does it better than Classic Driver. Please click here to see the available Bugatti Veyrons on Classic Driver.
