Another week, another limited-edition, even more powerful Murciélago from the Sant’Agata factory. This time, Lamborghini has introduced a 6.5-litre, 650bhp/660Nm V12 into the 4wd roadster; hence the ‘LP 650-4’ name.
The car will be produced in just one colour combination: Grigio Telesto with special bright orange Arancio accents and ‘LP 650-4’ script. Orange also features on the brake calipers and a transparent engine cover, which shows off the V12 engine behind the driver.
The interior is an all-black combination of Alcantara and Nero Perseus leather with orange highlights.
It hardly needs saying that the latest open Lamborghini will have blistering acceleration (0-62mph in 3.4 seconds) and a stratospheric top speed of, the company says, ‘around 330km/h (205mph)’.
The 650bhp engine is unique to the car.
