Held at its regular Buxton venue, auctioneers H&H will be selling over 70 cars next month, including this 1980 Ferrari 400i for £12,000 - 14,000.
One of only 170 or so RHD cars, this metallic sand with brown leather upholstery car provides four-seat automatic Ferrari V12 motoring for less than a tenth of the price of a pre-owned 612 Scaglietti. There’s also a LHD 1986 Ferrari Mondial for £6,500 - 7,500, and for enthusiasts of the famous British marque, a 1972 Aston Martin Vantage automatic, a silver car with navy leather for £16,000 - 20,000.
Finished in Jensen Sun Bronze with red leather upholstery, the 1964 Jensen CV8 MK II, £14,000 - 16,000, was judged overall winner of the Masters Class at the Classic Cars magazine Donington International Concours, and the seller feels that 'CPX 605B' is "probably the best C-V8 MKII you are likely to see in the British Isles". The LHD 1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster looks good in black/red interior and is estimated at £30,000 - 32,000.

Older cars of note include a 1924 Lea Francis F-Type Two-Seat Tourer (£16,000-18,000) that is said to be the third oldest example of the marque still in existence, a 1937 Triumph Vitesse 14/60 (one of only three known to the pre-1940 Owners’ Club) (£9,000-11,000). The 1949 MG TC has covered less than 5,000 miles in the last 12 years (£10,000-12,000) while the 1938 Vauxhall 14/6 saloon has been dry stored for 50 over years and is believed to have covered just 6,000 miles from new (£2,000-3,000)!
The 1934 Alvis Speed 20 SC Tourer is a smart pre-War drophead with a good ‘name’ and a 2762cc OHV straight-six engine to provide good performance in modern-day traffic. It’s estimated at £36,000-40,000.
If more modern luxury is more your scene then how about one of our favourite cars, the 1970 Rolls-Royce Mulliner Park Ward Two-Door Saloon that has covered just 30,000 miles. Estimated at £20,000-25,000, the elegant one-owner car also benefits from an interesting (and valuable) number plate ’00 999’.

H&H Classic Auctions Signs Headline Sponsorship Agreement with The Vintage Sports-Car Club
H&H has signed a landmark sponsorship agreement with the Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC), one of the most established and significant of all UK car clubs.
The multi faceted deal guarantees the auction house ongoing title sponsorship of a range of VSCC events. From hereon, all VSCC advertising material will carry the H&H logo and vice versa, while VSCC members will be entitled to 40% discount from the vendor’s commission at all H&H cars sales.
Said H&H’s Simon Hope, "Our backing will provide the VSCC with a guaranteed level of income that will, among other things, assist them in their aim to attract additional young members.
Said the VSCC Club Secretary Mike Stripe, "We are very comfortable with H&H’s transparent style of auctioneering and ongoing participation in, and support for, events for the pre-war car fraternity. We are delighted at the agreement between us, which we believe will be very beneficial to both parties for many years to come."
