It's H&H's last 2007 sale, and with a bumper 95-car entry they hope to finish on a high. The catalogue is considerably enhanced by several Ferraris and Astons, and there's also a 1957 AC Ace Bristol estimated at £80,000 - 100,000, originally supplied new to Ken Rudd of Worthing who went on to become famous for his 'Ruddspeed' engine tuning business.
It's stated as having its original engine, and finished in red with light tan leather upholstery is described by the vendor as being in "very good overall" condition. The car is currently in road going trim but is accompanied by a spare set of four 15-inch 72-spoke wire wheels shod with Dunlop racing tyres and an original AC Perspex racing screen for those with more sporting ambitions.

A 'Private Yorkshire Collection' supplies several attractive entries at the end of the sale that include a 1970 Maserati Ghibli SS at £40,000 - 45,000, and one of the headlining cars, a RHD 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona' estimated at £140,000 - 160,000. The latter carries the appropriate registration number '365 GT', and H&H will hope they can repeat their Duxford success with big Ferraris when a 330 GTC sold for £148,500.
In addition to the 'Daytona', other Ferraris include a 1988 Testarossa (£30,000 - 35,000), a 1990 Mondial T Coupé (£30,000 - 32,000 and very low mileage), a 1986 Ferrari 412i (£10,000 - 12,000), and a 1972 Dino 246 GT for £68,000 - 75,000.

It's not all Italian exotica though. Something you don't see every day is the 1957 BMW 503 Convertible, estimated at £120,000 - 140,000. This is a more sedate cousin to the ultra-desirable 507, also comes with a V8 but is, if anything, by far the rarer.
H&H have become one of the world's specialist auction houses for selling pre-War Lagondas and their November sale features two elegant convertibles. There is a 1937 LG45 Drophead Coupé for £80,000 - 90,000, and a 1933 3/3.5 Litre Tourer, at £80,000 - 90,000 the result of some three years work by the late Peter Whenman costing some £120,000.

There are also four Aston Martins in the sale. Very competitively estimated at £45,000 - 55,000, the 1961 DB4 is sure to attract a lot of interest, while £25,000 - 30,000 will buy someone the 1984 NEC Motor Show Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Finished in very 1980s' Windsor Red, the car is described as being in 'really lovely genuine condition', but for those seeking something a little more discrete there is also a Black with red-piped black leather 1988 V8 Vantage at £36,000 - 38,000.
Finally, how about the oldest surviving Jaguar XJ220? There's a 1990 Prototype entered for £60,000 - 70,000 that was used a works development car and has covered just 8,000 miles from new. Once the 'fastest car in the world', the XJ220 can still turn heads as well as being a handy track day and Club racing tool.
