Well-known historic event organiser Patrick Peter, of Peter Auto, responsible for such historic highlights as the Tour Auto and Le Mans Classic, is planning a ‘new look’ for the Grand Prix de Pau Historique.

Peter Auto has signed an agreement with the local ASA Basco Béarnais, with the aim of running the event every other year. It’s hoped that the the Monaco-esque magic of the town circuit, combined with Peter’s experience, will elevate the prestige of the Pau meeting to the heights of such must-do events as the Le Mans Classic and Grand Prix Historique of Monaco.

The next Grand Prix de Pau Historique is on 23-24 May 2009.
