Goodwood - Festival of Speed 2000 - Interviews

This new medium discovers one of the most prominent classic car events in the world, The Goodwood Festival of Speed. For the first time Classic Driver and The Goodwood Festival of Speed have teamed up to present live reports from the Goodwood Estate in Chichester, West Sussex via our Web TV initiative.

Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jack Brabham, Damon Hill and Jacky Ickx are just a few of the many figures participating at this years Festival of Speed. For the last eight years, since the creation of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the greatest names and cars throughout the history of motor sport have been meeting a the Goodwood Estate to look back on a bygone racing era.

From Friday the 23 of June, to Sunday the 25th the Festival of Speed has undoubtedly lived up to and, surpassed all expectations. Bitter rivalries and classic old racing battles were brought back to centre stage as the festival reunited many cars and their original drivers to another battle. The starting field was divided into 24 categories, starting from turn of the century classics to modern day Formula 1 challengers. With such a vast array of fantastic machinery on hand it was a motor sport and classic car enthusiasts dream come true.
