Goodwood 2010: Provisional Dates for Festival and Revival

Lord March has announced the provisional 2010 dates for the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, although – as always – the dates won’t be set in stone till the full F1 calendar has been confirmed.

The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed – the 18th running of the fabulous hillclimb event in the grounds of Goodwood House – is expected to take place over the weekend of 2-4 July. The theme for 2010 will be announced in the coming weeks.

And the 2010 Goodwood Revival on the glorious Goodwood Motor Circuit, with the event’s usual pre-1966 theme for both competitors and spectators, is provisionally scheduled for the weekend of 17-19 September.

Goodwood has promised further enhancements for next year, including upgrades to some of the entertainment facilities, flexible grandstand seating with more roaming viewing available, plus improvements to the on-site camping facilities.

As in previous years, admission to both Goodwood motorsport events will be strictly by advance ticket only, with ticket sales starting on 1 November 2009. See www.goodwood.com/motorsport for more details.
