GENEVA CLASSICS is a new exhibition dedicated to 'Classic' means of transport; it is the only event in Europe to combine, in a single location, classic cars, motor-bikes, boats and aeroplanes. It will take place at the PALEXPO, just a short walk from Geneva Airport from the 6th - 8th October.

It's held in Hall 7, directly adjacent to the tarmac of Geneva International Airport where the historic aeroplanes will be exhibited.

GENEVA CLASSICS will be offering an exhibition, an auction and a drive-in cinema, all within the same event.

The exhibition will cover every topic in the “classic” field with a range of collectors’ vehicles, exhibitors from museums, clubs and associations, and stands presenting books, models and other automobilia.

The auction will be conducted by The Sportscar Auction Company Ltd.

The drive-in cinema will be showing a selection of films devoted to transport in older times - with the audience comfortably installed in their collector’s vehicles.

With a mix of old cars, 'planes, boats, motorcycles and automobilia, GENEVA CLASSICS should have something to appeal to all enthusiasts.

The event will take place for the first time from 6 to 8 October 2006 at the GENEVA PALEXPO exhibition and conference centre.

Amongst the exhibiting dealers and specialists thre will be many names familar to Classic Driver readers, companies such as E.Thiesen KG, Kidston S.A., and the Le Mans Classic.

The exhibition is open on Friday from 10:00 am to 08:00 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am to 06:00 pm.
