Ferrari 550 wins again at Magny Cours

The Biagi-Bobbi crew, driving a Ferrari 550 Maranello (BMS Scuderia Italia,) has won the second race of the FIA GT championship at the Magny-Cours circuit in France, confirming its qualifying showing when it took pole.

The runner-up spot went to the other Ferrari 550 Maranello, also run by the team from Brescia, with Cappellari-Gollin at the wheel.

It was a fantastic one-two, after a very sporting contest with the Deletraz-Piccini Lister Storm, which made it to the third step of the podium, with the Roos-Wallinder Chrysler Viper in fourth spot.

Rounding off a great day for the Maranello marque, which had already dominated the opening round in Barcelona, came a win in the NGT class for a Ferrari 360 GT, run by Team Maranello Concessionaires UK.

"Once again, thanks to the bravura and experience of our customer teams, the Ferrari 550 Maranello and the 360 GT have obtained brilliant results, which show the worth of two exceptional products," - stated Claudio Berro, Director of Ferrari Corse Clienti. "And now we are working, under the supervision of our Technical Director, Giorgio Acanelli, on two new projects: the 575 GTC and an evolution of the 360 GT, which will be on track by the end of the season."
