Fabergé Agathon M 1111 Platinum

Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide, the crowning glory of the Fabergé Agathon M collection is the ‘M 1111 Platinum’ - a version in which every part of the watch - even the rotor and dial - is made of the precious metal. Not only does platinum have a higher monetary value than gold, but it also requires a much more complicated manufacturing process.

Blue hands orbit the finely-turned platinum face of the watch. The calendar function shows date, day and month, while the phases of the moon are shown as gold and blue on the grey background of the face. To adjust the calendar and moon phase function a special adjusting pin made of titanium is used.

The platinum rotor is hand-made, and its gilded finish stands out in contrast to the satin grey of the rest of the watch’s components visible through the glass back, while a Louisiana alligator supplies the leather for the strap.
