The last few years have seen the emergence of several new – and often excellent – concours d’elegance in the UK, but the summer event in the grounds of London’s Hurlingham Club has been a regular fixture on the social calendar for 20 years.
The Hurlingham concours has, however, developed over the years and instead of being purely a collection of vintage, classic and supercars, it is now established as a ‘garden party and gourmet barbeque’ that embraces a broader range of brands epitomising luxury and style – and covering everything from fashion and jewellery to boats and superyachts.
Visitors will see brands such as Aston Martin, Morgan Motors, Sunseeker London and Rizon Jet exhibiting on The Hurlingham Club’s graceful lawns, while guests are also invited to roam the designer shopping village.
This year’s chosen charity, which will benefit from the event, is the Christchurch Appeal. For times, ticket options and prices, see www.concourslondon.com.
