Snapshot, 1965: Blonde bombshell gets her jollies in a Fiat 600

It’s 1965, and the Fiat 600 Jolly has become a popular lifestyle vehicle of high society. Italian diva Sandra Milo demonstrates this with her open-topped beach runabout, which not only has impressive everyday capabilities but can also transport up to five people to the lido…

Sandra Milo had begun her career portraying enticing ladies of questionable morals, but once she was featured in Federico Fellini's autobiographical film classic Achteinhalb in 1963, alongside Marcello Mastroianni, the blonde bombshell transitioned into a highly regarded and respected Italian actress. In the middle of the 1960s, she was awarded the Nastro d'Argento film award — twice. Now, in the summer of 1965, sat behind the wheel of this Fiat 600 Jolly, she is at the height of her career, and her mood is correspondingly jovial. She also seems to have a heavy foot on the gas pedal, seeing as her three companions in the backseat need to hold on to the railing to keep themselves from flying out.
