Cholmondeley Pageant of Power 2010

This year’s motorsport festival at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire will be held over the weekend of 17-18 July, offering its usual celebration of speed and daring on the track, on water and in the air.

On the track, current and historic racing machinery, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled, will compete on the Cholmondeley Circuit. Expect to see Le Mans and Grand Prix cars, along with aero-engined fire-spitters and classic rally cars. Meanwhile, we’re promised motorbikes with a strong TT pedigree plus production superbikes.

On the water, powerboats will include the powerful Formula 2 and 4 classes, together with 400cc ISO Seniors and Thundercats.

And in the air, an array of helicopters will be joined by the Breitling display team and other aerobatic exhibitions.

As in previous years, there will be a Fireworks Concert and Military Tattoo on the Saturday evening. Other attractions include a concours d’élegance, car club enclosure, off-roading, children’s activities, bars and a burgeoning shopping village.
