This auction is making it difficult to decide which car to buy
Historics at Brooklands always has something to offer, especially for lovers of British automobile eccentricity. In its upcoming sale, there are some Marmite cars that are rarely seen on the mainland, such as a 1970 Marcos GT, a 1981 AC 3000ME, and a 1983 Bristol Brigand. But there’s no lack of Continental treasures in the 131-lot catalogue either, as we’ve caught a glimpse of a beautiful metallic blue Fiat Dino from 1969, a ready-to-race Ferrari 308 GTB, and a comprehensively restored Alfa Romeo Montreal. As we’ve come to expect from Historics of Brooklands, the estimated prices are quite reasonable — just a few thousand pounds will get in you the game — and they’ve managed to stay below the magic limit of 50,000 pounds, even for the big names like Ferrari and Bentley. The entire catalogue for Historics at Brooklands’ Mercedes-Benz World auction, taking place on 25 November, is on the Classic Driver Market. Alternatively, you can find our 10 favourites below.
