Bentley Continental Flying Spur MY 2012

Bentley has announced new styling and interior options for its 2012 four-door Grand Tourers, the Continental Flying Spur and the 200mph Flying Spur Speed. Called ‘Series 51’, the design variants were first seen on the Continental GT and GTC, but Flying Spur customers can now select from the range of 14 designs, as recommended by Bentley’s colour and trim experts.

Externally, the customer might choose to select a duo-tone paint option, ranging from ‘cool and crisp hues’ through to ‘rich and fiery shades’, with one accent colour sweeping from the bonnet, over the roof and onto the boot. The colour and trim team will also make recommendations for the interior colour scheme, to complement and highlight the paintwork. There are also unique Series 51 graphite-finished nine-spoke, 19-inch sports alloy wheels, while Series 51 wing badges, positioned behind the front wheel arches, complete the bespoke look.

“Each Series 51 Flying Spur is instantly recognisable – most notably in the cabin area,” says Melinda June-Jenkins, manager of colour and trim. “The team has created a wide selection of three-tone interiors demonstrating the full potential of the company’s vast colour palette.” Also new is that a state-of-the-art, 30GB touchscreen infotainment system comes as standard in all new Continental Flying Spur and Supersports models.
