The Art of "Private-Jetting"

Everyone knows the advantages of travelling by Private Jet. No stress, no hassle and independence from the mass transit system mentality of major airports. These advantages have been the preserve of CEOs or celebrities owning their own aeroplanes. Now it’s possible to purchase ‘per-person’ seat rates on Private Jet travel in the USA by joining the Avion Private Jet Club. Where this scheme differs from many others is that Club Members do not buy ‘hours’ but individual seats.

At the moment this service is only offered on the New York to Los Angeles route (up to four round trips a week), but as membership and demand continues to grow, the company will expand its service to additional destinations. The principle is simple. Having paid an annual fee of approximately 11,000 EURO, each ‘seat’ on a flight costs around 4,500 EURO – and it’s not dependent on the jet being full, just one passenger can use this service at this sort of price.

And it’s luxury all the way when you travel with Avion Private Jet Club. Flyers are chauffeured in a limousine to the jet. Their bags are whisked onboard so they can relax in a spacious cabin equipped with the latest amenities. Once airborne, travellers will dine on exquisite cuisine by Wolfgang Puck Catering, the chef selected by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to create the menu for the Governors Ball, the post-telecast celebration following the 78th Academy Awards® , March 2006.
