2012 Porsche 911: Online configurator goes live

From today onwards, prospective buyers of the new Porsche 911 will be able to configure their car online. In addition to the classic combinations for the Carrera and Carrera S, there are numerous new colours and styling options available for selection.

Let’s face it; the majority of new 911s will be sold in white, silver or black. But for the adventurous few that will shy away from understated hues, Porsche offers a wide selection of special colours such as Cognac or Lime Gold metallic (pictured). These can be twinned with 9 different interior colour options which include Bi-Colour or natural leather seat trims, and a variety of choices of carbon or natural wood inserts are also available in the ‘individualisation’ section. The ‘Sport Design’ pack adds a rear spoiler to the 911’s much-improved rear end, or the user can alternatively opt for the 'track-ready' look with the Aerokit package and its even more prominent rear downforce aid.

You can configure your very own 991-series Porsche 911 by visiting the Porsche website.
